The Weblog Tools Collections plugin competition 2009 has now kicked off. I have no plans to enter it this year, so instead I intend to review each of the plugins that are entered into the competition, as and when they are entered, and choose a winner of my own.
If you are thinking of entering you can check out this forum post on Weblog Tools Collection’s brand new Buddy Press powered forum. Personally I am hoping for some advanced work-flow plugins.

You actually helped with the development of one of the sections I’m intending to add to it! The sortable-list script you wrote for me a while back will be implemented into it, or at least something extremely similar based on what you wrote.

I haven’t always agreed with the winner they choose so I though an alternative perspective might be useful. I will look out for your entry.

Nice to hear you helping with the judging Andrew :)
I’m working on a new plugin for the competition right now. I’m not sure it counts as an ‘advanced work-flow’ plugin, but it will hopefully reduce the time needed by non-coders to setup their site.
