Comments are often the lifeblood of a blog. If you are creating tutorials they give you new ideas and help you to better meet the needs of your readers, if you are stating opinions they help you to learn where you have gone wrong or further prove you right. Either way comments are great. But they are not always exactly what they seem.
I have done it, not often, but I have. I know others who have done it. Have you done it?
What I am talking about is commenting under a fake name. Now I’m not talking about using your blog name instead of your real name, using keywords, or spamming. I mean, have you ever commented and pretended not to be you? That’s the subject of this week’s Monday poll.
I had to use a variant of my name on Performancing because, wouldn't you just know it, there was already a performancing member called 'Andrew'. I started with 'My name is Andrew' and soon progressed to 'my name is not prince'.

No. Well I always sign as 'Andy C' with my blog URL.
Obviously my real name is Norman Brightside but no-one, absolutely no-one knows that. If they did, I would surely lose my job. Doh !

No, but I have commented under a pseudonym that's easily traced to me.
