I'm all for being a better communicator. I think blogging has helped me with that a lot as well. I hope you find blogging does as much for you.

I'm not really reaching my clients through my blog ( most of them are from referrals ). What I meant by PR is learning to be a better communicator :) , and not as an advertising tool (not sure how to express this better... I've finished a technical school :-) )

Cristi, blogging has always been about expression for me as well. I honestly don't know what I would do with my ideas if I couldn't blog about them. I'm not sure I like the idea of blogging being about PR but I guess I see what you mean.

Yeah... Calendars are dead :) . I don't really find a use for them.

Linking on the other hand I still use it... and the links are from people I know, some of them are even good friends of mine, but aren't actually things that I'm interested in (I'm interested in what I chose to write on the blog) .

In a way Revers Chronological Layouts are just a way to make people stay longer on the site, and might even filter out just the best posts... although that would clearly push to the bottom of the sac more complex technical posts.

In the end blogging for me (I blog for the incredibly long time of 3 months) is about learning to express my ideas in digital format and better communicate them. It's all about PR actually :)

I just opened my feed reader and found this post: http://wordpressgarage.com/plugins/wordpress-ca...
For a moment I thought I had been instantly debunked but these calendars seem to be about events and not just listing posts. Whew!
