I just noticed that WordPress 2.5 pages have a page order option built in to them now. Go to manage pages (or write a new page) scroll down, and there it is.

That feature has actually existed for some time now. And I agree the My Page Order plugin does the trick for me as does the Order Pages plugin.

It’s a good start, but only really useful if you have just a very few pages – since it uses a numbering order schema, any time you add a new page that you want ‘inserted’ somewhere you’d have to renumber all your existing pages…..It does at least give the user options but I hope they will continue to work on this issue….
In the meantime I’ll keep using one of my most valued plugins, My Page Order , which I love.
